***COVID-19 UPDATE***

ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Mountain Sleep Diagnostics team wants to assure you that safety is our top priority. We are taking all precautions as we continue to meet our patients’ sleep testing needs. We are actively applying what we learn about COVID-19 on a daily basis to our safety routines.

Our practices include the following:

  • Our tests are performed in an office suite, not in a hospital where there may be patients who are ill.

  • In our largest labs there will be 1-5 other patients in the suite, all of whom have been screened for symptoms of coronavirus. Several of our labs have fewer than 5 patients. There will also be 1-2 Sleep Technicians onsite to perform the testing. Patients do not arrive at the same time, limiting exposure.

  • Each patient has their own private room, but in most cases there is a shared bathroom. There is limited or no exposure to other patients.

  • Rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between patients.

  • The labs are stocked with personal protective equipment, including masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and soap.

  • All of the monitoring devices used for testing are processed according to industry standards in hospital grade disinfectants. We have enhanced all of our already thorough procedures to disinfect the entire lab before and after testing.

  • All CPAP equipment is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected according to industry standards after tests are completed.

  • Our in-home testing devices are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected according to industry standards, similar to the in-lab equipment.

  • Our In-Home Equipment Specialists have been supplied with personal protective equipment and, if requested, can deliver equipment via a simple drop off with no direct contact.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will make changes as needed. For now we are remaining open and will continue performing sleep tests.

We also recognize that many hospital-based sleep labs have been forced to divert efforts to treatment of patients who are ill. If there is anything we can do to help get your healthy population through the sleep testing process, please feel free to contact us at 303-396-5923.
